Zeon Studio is now fully committed to helping coaches using GoHighLevel

We Spent 2 Months Inside the GoHighLevel Community. Here is what we found and why we are now fully committed to coaches.

Two months ago, we walked into the GoHighLevel ecosystem knowing almost nothing about it.

That is not false modesty. Our team at Zeon Studio had spent years building in static website development world. We shipped 200+ templates. We understood that audience deeply. We knew the developers, the designers, the indie builders. We knew what they needed before they asked.

Then we decided to enter GoHighLevel (GHL).

Same skills. Same team. Completely new world.

The first thing we did was shut up and listen.

When you enter a new ecosystem, the worst thing you can do is assume your old knowledge transfers perfectly. Yes, we could design. Yes, we could build. Yes, our automation specialists knew their craft. But the GHL community was new to us. The audience was new. The pain points were new.

So we did what we always do when entering unfamiliar territory. We read everything.

Hundreds of community posts. Feature request threads. Facebook group discussions. Reddit threads. Support questions. I read comments late at night that made me think: “This person is struggling in a way that is completely preventable.”

We built first, to prove we belonged.

Before we could serve anyone, we needed to demonstrate we understood the platform.

We are a product-focused company at heart. Most of us are developers, designers, and technical marketers. So when we saw the GHL marketplace, our instinct was to build.

We noticed there was no native way to generate an llms.txt file for GHL-hosted sites. Important for AI visibility. Nobody had solved it. We built the LLMs.txt Generator for GHL.

We noticed that connecting GHL with a self-hosted n8n instance was painful. No clean bridge existed. We built the n8n GHL Bridge, a token broker that makes the connection simple.

We also noticed that GHL blog posts had no comment functionality. The feature request had hundreds of upvotes in the community with no sign of shipping from the GHL team. We built a comment solution for GHL blogs.

And because we kept hearing from people who loved GHL for CRM and automation but wanted more control over their website, we started talking about headless GoHighLevel. Using modern frameworks like Astro for the website. Using GHL for CRM, automation, and backend. We built a template to demonstrate it works. Our own site, zeon.studio, runs on exactly this setup.

We were not doing this to make money immediately. We were doing it to understand the ecosystem from the inside.

Then we found the people we actually want to serve.

After two months of building, reading, and observing, one pattern became impossible to ignore.

Coaches and consultants love GoHighLevel. They love the promise of it. One platform. Replace five tools. Everything connected. They sign up excited, ready to finally get their business running properly.

And then GHL shows them the dashboard.

The platform is genuinely powerful. That is not in question. But power without direction is overwhelming. And for coaches, consultants, tutors, and course creators who got into their field because of their expertise, not their technical skills, the setup process is brutal.

Here are a few things coaches posted in the GHL community. I am not using their names, but these are real words from real people.

One coach, brand new to the platform, wrote something that stuck with me. He described himself as “techie but from an old school hardware perspective.” He could see how powerful GHL was from the outside. But understanding how everything connected together felt impossible. He was trying to figure out the funnel, the automations, the CRM, the scheduling, all at once.

Another coach booked a full onboarding session directly with GHL and came out saying she felt it would take a full-time GHL specialist working 8 hours a day for two to four weeks just to build her setup.

A third coach was launching a digital course and described herself as feeling overwhelmed while trying to learn the technology. She had expertise to share. She had a program ready. The tech was standing between her and her clients.

These are not edge cases. I read versions of these posts every single day while we were in research mode. Hundreds of them.

What coaches actually need is not a tutorial. It is a team.

Here is what I kept noticing. The people who were struggling were not failing because they lacked intelligence or commitment. They were failing because GHL is not a one-person job.

Think about what a complete GHL setup actually requires. Funnel design. Funnel build. Automation logic. Workflow setup. CRM configuration. Course or membership setup. Payment integration. Email sequences. SMS campaigns. Calendar and booking. Domain setup.

Each of those is a skill. A real skill. You can spend six months mastering automations alone. Most experienced GHL specialists focus on one or two of these areas and know the others at a surface level.

A freelancer might be excellent at funnel design but average at automations. Or great at automations but not a designer. Coaches end up with a setup that is strong in one area and weak in the others. That is not their fault. They hired the best they could find. The problem is that no single person can do all of it well.

Our team at Zeon Studio is built differently. We have dedicated developers. Designers who focuses entirely on GHL design. Automation specialists who spend their days inside workflows. Project managers who keeps everything moving. Strategist who understands the business side.

When a coach works with us, they get the whole team. Not a freelancer wearing five hats. Not a consultant who tells them what to do and leaves. A team that actually builds it.

Three types of coaches we are here to help.

After all of this research, I can now describe exactly who we want to work with.

The coach who is brand new to GoHighLevel. They signed up. They are watching tutorials. They are three weeks in and nowhere near launching. They need a complete setup built correctly from day one so they can stop thinking about tech and start thinking about clients.

The coach who is migrating from another platform. They are on Kajabi, ClickFunnels, or WordPress. They have heard about GHL and like what they hear. But migrating feels terrifying. What if content gets lost? What if automations break? What if they go dark for a week during the move? They need a migration partner who has done this before and can move everything without disruption.

The coach who is already on GHL but stuck. The setup is done but something is wrong. Leads are coming in but not converting. An automation is firing at the wrong time or not at all. They want to add a course or membership but cannot figure out how. They need an expert to audit what they have, find what is broken, and fix it.

This is where we are going.

I want to be honest about where we are. We are two months into the GHL ecosystem. We do not have a wall of coach testimonials yet. We are still learning this audience every day.

But that is exactly why I am writing this post.

We are committing to coaches publicly. Not because it makes a good headline. Because I believe our team is built for this specific problem. A full team delivering expert GHL work, at a pace that gets coaches live fast, with communication that actually makes sense to non-technical people.

If you are a coach and any part of this story sounds like your story, I would like to talk.

Not a sales call. A 30-minute conversation about where you are with GHL and whether we are the right team to help you move forward.

You can see exactly what we offer and how we work at GoHighLevel for Coaches

If you have questions, feel free to ask them in the comments or reach out directly.

This is going to be a good journey.
